the chipmunks eat side by side with the rabbits, with any of the birds...but once a squirrel approaches the competition is on, they run around and up and down the tree"s compartment one reaches the tip and the alternative goes for the feed.

We have about 6 gray squirrels, 3 red squirrels and a integrate of chipmunks out underneath the feeders right now...they follow a small bit, but they all hang around to eat.I consternation if that equates to madame hazel is putting out as well most seed.
Oh no Hazel,it"s never as well much, I feed them all year around,I know a small people don"t in the summer,but we similar to to watch all the critters.
We do, too.At slightest right away that nesting has proposed in aspiring we"re down to about a gallon of seed a day, most of it going to the squirrels.To have up for the miss of trade at the seed feeder, the hummers are putting on a show...they splash about 2 liters of nectar a day!
